Dr. Ravees – Sports physiotherapist & Rehabilitation therapist.
Dr Ravees holds a specialisations in rehabilitation therapy from Manipal university, where he gained in-depth knowledge of advanced therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation and recovery.
Dr. Ravees completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) at the prestigious National Institute of Orthopaedically Handicapped (NIOH), focusing on orthopaedic and Neurological rehabilitation and the management of physical disabilities. Further advancing his expertise, Dr. Ravees earned a Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Sports from Jamia Hamdard University, specializing in sports physiotherapy, where he honed his skills in injury prevention, recovery, and performance enhancement for athletes.
Dr. Ravees has contributed to several major international sporting events, including ATP Tennis (Association of Tennis Professional ) 2015, ITF (International Tennis Federation) 2015, Delhi State level Judo championships in 2016 , 2018 Para Asian Games Jakarta (Indonesia), and the 2021 Paralympic Games (Tokyo, Japan). He also played a crucial role in supporting athletes during the International Legends League Cricket (Season 1 & 2) in 2022 and 2023 while being a part of Bhilwara kings as a team physiotherapist. In addition, Dr. Raja worked closely with the Handball Association of Uttarakhand in 2021, providing specialized care to enhance performance and recovery for the state’s athletes.
In addition to his academic qualifications, Dr. Ravees has pursued specialized certifications in various advanced therapeutic techniques, including Dry Needling, Chiropractic, Stott Pilates Intensive Reformer Instructor, and Myofascial Therapy.
For over 8 years, Dr. Ravees served as the Center Leader at Aktiv Health, where he specialized in the rehabilitation of both athletes and non-athletes, offering personalized treatment plans for a variety of injuries. His approach combines advanced techniques with a deep understanding of the human body, ensuring the best possible recovery for his patients.
In recognition of his contributions to the field, Dr. Ravees has been honored with the Youth Icon Award from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and an Award for Scientific Paper Presentation at AIIMS, New Delhi.
